We are offering reduced drying charges for this Harvest season. Our moisture discount schedule is structured in a way to encourage “field dry down” and discourage a high volume of 25%+ corn coming in. Our existing moisture discount schedule accelerates at higher moisture levels.

2025 Harvest: Wet corn delivered into Avon, Lakeville, & Batavia

Moisture discounts will remain fixed for all moistures 23.51% and above.

We are very aware the window for field dry down has passed, and the priority must be placed on removing the crop from the field, before we sacrifice additional yield and/or quality to the elements.

Our farm has faced the same challenges in the field as many producers across our region this year. We too are searching for “dry” corn and only finding 24% to 27%, on November 20th. We too are searching for an end to the 2025 farming season.

If you have already delivered wet corn, you will get a reimbursement check for the difference.

1.     We effectively navigated very volatile Natural Gas & Propane prices by locking in low energy contracts with various suppliers, and feel it is appropriate to share those savings with you.

2.     We are seeing reduced volumes overall; therefore, we can withstand a slower drying pace without creating receiving bottlenecks.

3.     We understand the on-farm difficulty of getting 28% corn to thoroughly dry down to 14.5% for proper storing, and therefore would rather oversee the process ourselves than draw musty/moldy 16.5% corn out of your bin in May.
